VOLUNTEERING AT HAWAII FI-DO

SYL volunteered by painting the Hawaii Fi-Do house and landscaping the premises. It was a very rewarding experience to do a small part to help people who are doing such great things for our community. We can only imagine how much positivity these dogs must bring their owners, because in the short amount of time that we spent with the dogs, they already lifted our spirits as you can tell by all the pictures below.

Hawaii Fi-Do Service Dogs is a small 501(c)3 non profit corporation built with volunteers from the ground up. They are the only Certified Training Center on the island of Oahu, Hawaii and in 2008 were Internationally Accredited under ADI Assistance Dogs International. Hawaii Fi-Do’s vision and mission is dedicated to breed, raise and successfully train assistance dogs to provide physical, medical and therapeutic support for people who face the daily challenges of life with a disability other than blindness.
