2nd Annual Knockerball Tournament Raises Over $10,000!

SYL’s 2nd Annual Knockerball Tournament had 16 teams go head-to-head in a double elimination bracket. The intensity of the tournament was at Level 100 and some teams even had a coach, manager and playbook.  The championship round was between Nordic PCL Construction vs. Office of Hawaiian Affairs, and it ended with a tie, 0-0. Both teams sent in their strongest players for sudden death and Nordic PCL won the duel!

The money raised will go towards educational programs through Aloha United Way’s nonprofit partners. We believe that all children in our community should be provided adequate tools, resources and support to succeed in school. Our goal is to ensure that students are prepared for kindergarten, meet reading proficiency guidelines, transition successfully into middle school, graduate from high school on time and successfully enter college or the workforce.
