1st Annual SYL Earth Day Plant it Forward
« 5 of 5 »
On Saturday morning SYL members and their guests, volunteered at the Waihe‘e Lo‘i. We worked together to restore the lo‘i and learned about the history and importance that the lo‘i plays in our current local culture. We got dirty as we helped to pull weeds, clean around the taro plants. We even harvested taro. There was a natural pond for washing off. After the event SYL members and friends had an afternoon potluck.
